Now accepting applications for a Resident Care Coordinator (LPN) to implement standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis in the Assisted Living/Memory Care units of the campus. This position oversees the nursing aspects, directing and evaluating of all Memory Care (Alzheimer’s) personnel providing direct resident care within the campus. Operates Memory Care components in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the governing body in compliance with federal, state and local regulations, while coordinating nursing service with community agencies, physicians, families, residents, consultants, ancillary service providers, and other departments within the campus. 

Must have current and valid LPN licensure. Experience working in Memory Care environment a must. 



Experience and Skills:

A. Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two or Four year college or university degree required.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse is required.

B. Direct Previous Experience
- Administrative and management experience required.
- Two years experience in a similar healthcare position required.
- Five years of healthcare experience desired.
- Remain in good standing with all standards of the Nurse Practice Act.

C. Skills:
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) plus the
willingness to learn other computer programs if required.
- Ability to work with minimal or close supervision.
- Must conduct all business with a professional manner and with a high level of
confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of prescription drugs, therapy practices and bio-psycho-
social sciences.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as specified by the Company and by the Company’s automobile insurance carrier.

D. Abilities:
- Work indoors for the majority of the work day (fluorescent lights, HVAC
system, carpeted and tile flooring, normal office noise levels).
- Climb up to two flights of stairs occasionally.
- Lift objects of 25 pounds or less over the head.
- Move objects of 40 pounds or less.
- Ability to work in time-sensitive or stressful situations.
- Exposed to physical/verbal abuse by certain residents under mental or physical impairment.
- Exposure to needles, infections, wounds, medical equipment, and the like.
- Sit in a chair / stand for extended periods.
- Respond to medical emergencies in all areas of the campus.
- Assist with resident evacuations.
